Earth Day 2020
streaming LIVE at 7pm
Eric Sommer & Maggie Monroe
Please join us for this wonderful celebration of The 50th Anniversary of EARTH DAY 2020!! The Packing House is a historic mill located in Willington, Connecticut, that houses artists and creatives and hosts musical events in it’s wonderful space – they just received a fantastic grant from the State of Connecticut to do renovations on this glorious structure… so come and join me Fearrington Village, North Carolina, Artist Eric Sommer and the very talented Greensboro NC based Maggie Monroe on April 22, at 7pm!! The beautiful posters were created by Mark Stafford, resident artist at The Cartoon Museum in Central London, and he was introduced to us by the talented Lucinda Sieger of Lucy’s Lounge…!!
Here’s the event link where it will stream, but we’ll be available on FacebookLIVE, Instagram and Zoom, too!
All this confusion and inconvenience will pass, and we’ll be back to normal and music and entertainment will continue in the blink of an eye! We will all be brought closer by our shared concerns, new songs will be written, new points of view examined and our diversity and creativity celebrated! If you’re thinking of leaving the planet for Mars, here’s a song for you: “Holiday on Mars” and it’s on the latest release Turning Point which is available, along with plenty of other records, on the Eric Sommer website!!
The t-shirts are $15, white lettering on black Gildan, top quality from Superior Screen Printing in Eau Claire, WI. And you can order them directly from me in M, L, XL 2XL as well as all CD’s. Tell me what you’d like, and they’ll be on their way! T-Shirts
