Fiddle & Bow 40+1 Anniversary Festival

We are no longer selling tickets online.  Please come to the Reynolda House and purchase tickets at the gate.  Thank you.

Fiddle & Bow and Reynolda House are excited to announce the Fiddle & Bow 40+1 Anniversary Festival on Sunday May 22, from 1-4 PM. Tickets are $20 for non-members and $18 for members. Children under 12 are free.

The artist lineup includes local favorites Martha Bassett and Beirt le Chéile and Friends as well as acoustic blues artist Doug MacLeod and sacred steel artist DaShawn Hickman. DaShawn is a master of the sacred steel guitar, a gospel tradition where the lap and pedal steel guitar play a central role.

Our 40+1 Anniversary Festival at Reynolda House on Sunday, May 22 will be held outdoors. Remember to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert on the wonderful Reynolda grounds.

Tickets will also be available at the gate or use the ticket link below to order tickets online.

The Fiddle & Bow Society incorporated and began live concerts, as well as its highly rated WFDD radio program, in 1981. For over 40 years Fiddle & Bow presented concerts, radio programs and radio events throughout the Piedmont Triad. Fiddle & Bow has presented folk artists such as John McCutcheon, Utah Phillips, John Gorka, Peggy Seeger, Mike Seeger, Alice Gerrard, and Si Khan. They have also presented blues artists Etta Baker and Guitar Gabriel in addition to legendary instrumentalists Joe and Odell Thompson, The Carolina Chocolate Drops and Tommy Jarrell.

While the pandemic limited activities over the past few years, Fiddle & Bow is excited to return to live shows and a celebration with Reynolda House. The relationship with Reynolda House started in the late 1980s and culminated in several festivals throughout the 2000s.

In addition to the festival, Reynolda House Museum of American Art will be open.

Food trucks and cash-only beer and wine will be available

Come and enjoy!
